Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, platform, and services (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Anor Data (“Anor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and “you” refers to both you individually and that organization.

1. Description of Services

Anor provides a data intelligence platform designed for nonprofits and churches. The Services include data integration, dashboard analytics, AI-powered insights, relationship mapping, and related tools. We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Services at any time with reasonable notice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration & Security

To access certain features of the Services, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and onboarding.
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials and not share them with unauthorized parties.
  • Notify us immediately at hello@anordata.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscription & Payments

4.1 Plans & Pricing

The Services are offered on a subscription basis. Current pricing and plan details are available on our pricing page. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice before the next billing cycle.

4.2 Free Trial

New subscriptions include a 14-day free trial. During the trial you have full access to the Services. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and your payment method will be charged.

4.3 Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. A one-time setup fee may apply and is charged at the time of checkout. All payments are processed by Stripe. By providing a payment method, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at hello@anordata.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the Services until the end of that period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

4.5 Refunds

Setup fees are non-refundable. Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 30 days and we will review your case.

5. Your Data

5.1 Ownership

You retain all rights, title, and interest in the data you upload, sync, or otherwise provide through the Services (“Your Data”). We do not claim ownership of Your Data.

5.2 License to Us

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, process, and display Your Data solely as necessary to provide and improve the Services. This license terminates when your account is closed and Your Data is deleted.

5.3 Data Processing

We process Your Data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your Data is never sold, shared with other customers, or used to train AI or machine learning models.

5.4 Data Portability & Deletion

You may request an export of Your Data at any time by contacting us. Upon account termination, Your Data will be deleted within 30 days unless we are legally required to retain it. See our Privacy Policy for detailed retention periods.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws or regulations.
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or our systems.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Services.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Services except through our documented APIs.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Services without our written consent.
  • Use the Services in a manner that interferes with or disrupts the experience of other users.
  • Upload data that you do not have the right to process, or that violates the privacy rights of individuals.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you are violating these acceptable use terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The Services — including all software, design, text, graphics, logos, and other content — are owned by Anor and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written consent.

8. Third-Party Services

The Services integrate with third-party tools and platforms (e.g., CRMs, donation platforms, email tools) that you choose to connect. Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

9. Service Availability & Support

We strive to maintain high availability of the Services but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Services are provided on an “as available” basis. We may perform scheduled maintenance that temporarily limits access to the Services, and we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Services will meet your specific requirements, that results obtained from the Services (including AI-generated insights) will be accurate or reliable, or that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, or free of errors. AI insights are generated for informational purposes only and should not be treated as professional advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ANOR, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Anor and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of a third party; or (d) Your Data.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. You may cancel your subscription as described in Section 4.4. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately if:

  • You breach these Terms.
  • Your use of the Services poses a security risk or may cause harm to other users or third parties.
  • We are required to do so by law or a government authority.
  • Your account has been inactive for more than 12 consecutive months on a free or trial plan.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Sections 5 (Your Data), 7 (Intellectual Property), 10–12 (Disclaimers, Liability, Indemnification), and 15 (Governing Law) survive termination.

14. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by emailing the address associated with your account at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Services and cancel your subscription.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the parties cannot reach a resolution within 30 days, either party may pursue binding arbitration or litigation in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

16. Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Anor regarding the Services.
  • Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
  • Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
  • Assignment. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
  • Force majeure. We are not liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, internet outages, or third-party service failures.
